Description: Vanilla planifolia is part of the Orchidacea family and is a native of Mexico. It is one of the most popular fragrances in the world; it has a very calming and soothing fragrance and is used in many spa and beauty products. There are no added preservatives or fragrances in our Vanilla infused oil, coupled with Vitamin E and Olive Oil.

Colour: Clear yellow coloured mobile liquid

Common Uses: Lip balms, body moisturisers, body custards, massage oils and cream bases.

Blends well with: Rose, Geranium, Lime, Sweet orange, Lemongrass, Cinnamon, Clove, Cocoa absolute, and Bergamot.
Aromatic Scent: Mild Vanilla scent with a hint of olive oil

Traditional Uses: Vanilla has traditionally been used as a flavouring agent in foods and perfumery. Vanilla has been known to exhibit antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties because it is a rich source of catechins. It has also been used as an aphrodisiac and for digestive upsets such as indigestion and flatulence.
