Organic Shea Butter is one of the most important natural ingredients when it comes to nourishing and indulgent skin care products. Rich in oil-soluble fatty acids, this butter is highly appreciated for its healing properties and intense moisturisation.
Packed with vitamins A, E, F, and K, organic shea butter can help repair damaged skin while protecting against environmental elements. It’s considered a powerhouse ingredient that provides many benefits to your skin – such as hydration, anti-aging effects, UV protection and improved cell generation.
The use of shea butter dates back centuries – it has been used by African women for generations to keep their skin soft and supple. In recent years it’s become increasingly popular in Europe – not just for its healing powers but also as an environmentally friendly ingredient. It takes only a small amount of shea butter to make a difference in your skincare routine; a little bit goes a long way!
If you’re looking for natural skincare products that really work, unrefined organic shea butter should be at the top of your list. Not only does it have incredible healing properties, but it is gentle enough to use on all skin types without causing any irritation or sensitivity. Your skin will be left feeling smooth, supple and nourished like never before!

Benefits of Organic Shea Butter
Organic unrefined shea butter is a powerhouse of nourishing skincare benefits. It is packed with vitamins A, E, F, and K that help to strengthen and protect the skin from environmental elements. The natural carotenoids present in it give the butter a pale yellow colour and also provide protection against UV rays.
This amazing ingredient provides superior hydration, reduces inflammation, improves cell regeneration and delays the signs of ageing due to its antioxidant properties. It can be used on all skin types without causing sensitivity or irritation – leaving you feeling soft, smooth and well taken care of!
Origin of Organic Shea Butter
Unrefined shea butter is the all-natural, unprocessed butter extracted from the sheanut which is only grown in Western Africa. Our raw, organic shea butter has not been chemically refined or extracted in any way; instead it is carefully hand-crafted by a women’s cooperative in Ghana to ensure that local communities are empowered and enabled. Pure shea butter is also called karite or sheanut butter.
Storage of Organic Shea Butter
Shea butter should be kept away from direct sunlight and sealed tightly, to prevent any moisture building up in the container. It is perfectly fine stored at room temperature and does not require a refrigerator. Despite not containing any preservatives, shea butter can last up to two years as an effective moisturiser.
Available in tubs from 100g to 25kg, stock up on larger quantities of Freshskin’s organic shea butter and make great savings.
